We do not understand how cognitive processes lead to emergent properties of seeing and thinking. There are many models that scientists use to try to research how our brains work but the complexity is overwhelming and we are nowhere near fully understanding how the stuff of brains, neurons, glia and the vascular system leads to our exprience of the world around us.

Electronic models may be easy to measure but logic fails when faced with a chaotic system, straight lines lead nowhere.
